About Kent State’s Alpha Tau Omega:

Alpha Tau Omega aims to provide a fraternal experience like no other. We recruit men of distinction, leadership, character, athleticism, and scholarship. Founded on September 11th in 1865, Alpha Tau Omega has expanded across the country with 250 chapters nationwide. Being a part of Alpha Tau Omega means actively participating in service, philanthropy, academics, athletics, and the overall betterment of man. We strive to provide a fraternal experience of excellence, and to establish bonds that transcend the outlines of the world.

Philanthropy:

Alpha Tau Omega holds events every year that benefits Cornerstone of Hope, a grieving center based in Independence Ohio. Cornerstone Of Hope was created by the Tripodi family after the loss of their son, Bobby, in May of 2000. Cornerstone of Hope offers many services to help anyone grieve in tough times. Cornerstone of Hope is so close to the hearts of the brothers because on February 7th 2016, our chapter lost one of our brothers. In this time of need we were helped by the individuals at Cornerstone Of Hope.
