  • At Kent State, you can join an IFC fraternity at any point in your college career. Whether it be your first semester on campus, or if you are a rising junior.

  • Anyone who is interested in joining an IFC fraternity must register through the recruitment link above. The recruitment registration link gives the FSL office staff the ability to grade release potential new members.

  • To be eligible to join an IFC chapter, potential new members must:

    • Have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA (high school and/or college depending on graduation year),

    • Complete the “Hazing Prevention 101: College Edition” training module on kent.prevent.zone using KSU credentials to login

  • The first day a chapter may extend a membership invitation (more commonly known as a bid) for Spring 2025 is January 24th, 2025 at 5pm

    • Many IFC fraternities extend membership invitations throughout the semester

  • If you have any questions about the IFC recruitment process, do not hesitate to reach out to Jack McConnell, Director of Member Education, Recruitment, and Retention at kentifc.education.recruitment@gmail.com, or Michele Criss, IFC Advisor at mcriss3@kent.edu
